Defragment Your Hard Drive

No matter what type of computer you have, over time the hard drive will become defragmented.  What is fragmentation? Check out the Youtube video:

Use Windows Built-In Tools to solve this condition and increase performance by following these steps:
1.     Single click "My Computer," right click "C" drive, click properties, click tools
2.     Highlight your system drive, (usually C) then click defragment
3.     While you are there, on the General tab, you have the option to Clean the Hard Drive.
4.     Click disk cleanup and select all items in the window.

This is a simple, yet cost effective built-in method to keep your system running efficiently.
